Desert hunter by Roiuky Desert hunter by Roiuky
my newest character! love his hair*_* so, yes, nameless char (atm) and his trusty steed, hyena/wolf hybrid, Im calling it a Beldolor wolf (hyena-belbus, wolf-lupus, hybrid-dolor) just for fun, was thinkin of making a group with ARPG and stuff but...no! have NO time for it what so ever T_T gonna make some kind of portfloio thing with these two anyways^_^hope you like!

the tack! yes, since hes a hunter he wants his doggy to be able to use its teeth, so no bit, you steer by just very gently putting preassure on the ears, or just leaning to either sides, and since the boy needs his hands for the bow he steers with his feet^_^(have noo idea if this would actually work but hey, it was fun!)

Yeah, this would work. :)  Sometimes very skilled western horsemen/woman use nothing but their weight and feet to stir their horses.  Heck, they can even get them to stop and go by using nothing more than their feet.  By squeezing in on its side a little, a trained horse should stop so I imagine this creature could do the same.  And to go all the person has to do is give its sides a nice kick.  Then to stir, a person just has to lean to the side which in turn will make the animal turn to the side.  I really like your idea of this creature and I do hope to see more in the future!  Very creative!

yeah I know, rider myself and my horse could turn and speed up/stop without me toughing the reins^^ was inspired by the native americans, heard stories of their horses and style of fighting, since the were also archers they needed their hands free when riding..sure If the rider lost his balance and put too much preassure on the ear rings it would prob tear pretty easily, so designing a second type of tack for the wolves that are not as wellbehaved^_^

This is my favorite character design from you! I love the creativity!
It is possible to steer with your legs, it's how you're supposed to steer a horse. ^_^

Very cool.  Not sure about the steering due to using the stirrups for balance aids, but the concept otherwise looks very good.  I know sled dogs work on voice commands.  Love the Beldolor wolf.

yeah, been thinking about it, might do some redesigning of the saddle, making the rider more stand on his knees and have a lot more balance support to the legs so he doesnt accedentaliy put preassure on the steering...^_^happy u like it, its my new little baby^_^
